The 1992 Statistician of the Year award was made to C. J. Bartlett for his historical research during the 20 years of the ACS and indeed for many years before the Association began. He had been a frequent contributor to the Journal and other cricket periodicals. Mr Bartlett was presented with the trophy at the 1993 AGM in Chelmsford by Peter Edwards, the Secretary of Essex CCC.
